Chic in Coral

Its probably just me, but this week has been such a struggle…like I did not even envisage anything like what it turned out to be. But still we move

I’ve had this coral skater dress for a bit.  I’m starting to feel like a hoarder, but it still fits so why toss it away ? Do you have any clothes that you’ve had for years and you’re unwilling to give away ?

I thought this dress was cute, that’s really why I got it. I didn’t have any clothing in this colour when I got it so It was hard to ignore.

It came with a belt but I have no idea where that stuff is right now. I wore it my nude courts and shimmery clutch, and paired with minimal accessories.

Because coral is somewhat bright, I used neutral colours to tone down the look. Most of the time the best choice is to pair with nude accessories like I did.

So you have a coral dress, here’s how you could wear it:

  • Shoes : Light coral flats would work for a casual day out with the clique, nude, metallic coloured or black suede heels for a wedding or a cocktail party.
  • Accessories; Gold jewelry would totally make the dress pop. Black purses would be appropriate for a casual fit , or you could match your shoes and purse in the same colour like I did.
  • Turquoise adds a pop of colour to coral dresses, shoes or a statement necklace in turquoise will be sure to turn heads.
